Dr. Petkus earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Palo Alto University.  She completed a pre-doctoral internship at I Ola Lāhui and Na Pu'uwai Native Hawaiian Health Care System on Molokai and postdoctoral fellowship at the I Ola Lāhui.  She is passionate about her clinical work with individuals and couples therapy. She has special interests in trauma informed care, LGBTQ+ affirmative care, and serving underserved populations. Her treatment approach leans heavily on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other evidence based treatments. She’s excited to be involved in the training and support of emerging clinicians.
