Dr. Petkus earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Palo Alto University.  She completed a pre-doctoral internship at I Ola Lāhui and Na Pu'uwai Native Hawaiian Health Care System on Molokai and postdoctoral fellowship at the I Ola Lāhui.  She is passionate about her clinical work with individuals and couples therapy. She has special interests in trauma informed care, LGBTQ+ affirmative care, and serving underserved populations. Her treatment approach leans heavily on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other evidence based treatments.
