Dr. Yano earned her Ph.D. in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of Oregon, Department of Psychology in 1989. She has been actively involved in the development, provision, and/or supervision of behavioral health services to rural health centers on O`ahu, Maui, Moloka`i, Kauai and Hawai`i Island; to military families and schools on O`ahu; and to State Department of Health and Department of Education programs.
